Spilling steam compressors are used wherever steam is to be raised to a higher pressure level. Applications:

• Heat recovery with conversion of excess low-pressure steam into useable high-pressure steam
• High-pressure steam generation without additional high pressure boiler

Three different compressor series are available, which differ in stroke and nominal speed. Flow rate is controlled by the variable speed drive to handle a wider range of operations.

Spilling steam compressor drives:

• three-phase asynchronous motors with frequency converter for good control and smooth start-up,
• three-phase motors with constant speed for low output and constant steam flows,
• integrated steam engine drive for plants with several steam networks with different pressure stages.
