"Green" electricity from Spilling.
Spilling steam engines and turbines have proven themselves as prime movers for smaller and medium-sized biomass power generation plants both in industry and district energy suppliers. They are most often run as combined heat and power units.Multi-stage steam turbines are used in particular for applications with larger, constant mass flows and higher live steam pressures and temperatures. Spilling steam engines are usually deployed in connection with boilers in moderate "live steam conditions" and/or saturated steam boilers, particularly where steam mass flow or energy acceptance is subject to clear fluctuations.
